The Psalms have always intrigued me. I have found comfort, strength, and encouragement in the studying them. As I have studied them, I have used references to see what others have said about them. Because of what I have learned, I am going to go back to those Psalms that I have already written about and add to them thoughts I have learned from my study. This is not intended to be an inclusive study of the Psalm; the intention is to challenge you to search through the Psalm and then apply it to your life. Enter into your reading with prayer and the anticipation that the Lord will open the Psalms to you in a new and fresh way.

I am thankful to the writing of George O. Wood for his writings on the Psalms in the book, A Psalm in Your Heart. Much of what is written in the Additional Thoughts section have been taken from his writings. I pray that you enjoy the Psalms as I have!
